The initiative to develop online training portal and e-learning environment is considered to be a real innovative solution in Albania. The initiative was the result of Training Needs Analysis the company performed via its channels in the market for the most suitable way to distribute the information about the training, and also to provide an effective, cost-cutting way of training courses.
These online platforms are enabling the training service providers, the training seekers and the SME to come together for the purpose of capacity development, and they are complementing each other.
The platforms are both mufti language, Albanian and English. The focus is mainly the Albanian language, since the market is missing the Albanian content environment.
The online portal initiative started in 2010, and was launched officially in the Amcham Job Fair, as an innovative approach towards training and professional development. This initiative is fully integrated with the Job Portal (www.duapune.com), and they both share the same community.
The service is gratis for the community, both seekers and providers.
Number of registered interested training/job seekers is about 40,000, the number of SME registered is about 1,500, about 50 training service providers.
This large community is notified twice/week via email for all the published and approved jobs and trainings.
