As an innovation of the Youth and Social Welfare Ministry by the special attention of the Minister, Mr. Erion Veliaj, this year in the vocational schools, the board chairman has been chosen from the field of entrepreneurship aiming to ensure that the knowledge obtained during the school studies to be implemented in practice at various businesses of the relevant fields. Priority on these schools will be the internships referring to the dual German system where the students have to be involved at around 30% of their timing at businesses premises.
Following this initiative, on September 26, 2014, Mr. Dritan Mezini, CEO of DM Consulting Services, was selected Chairman of the Board for the Professional Technical School “Gjergji Canco”. The starting of this relationship will serve as a bridge between the school and business by counseling and supporting the school board on improving the existing curricula to match better the market demands.
